Start gathering pictures that fit your vibe and then identify particular colors, pieces of decor, and styles that pop up again and again in your pins. If you’re feeling like a pro, make a moodboard to help you stay on track when it comes time to start decorating.  

Shop Your Home 

Many of us have pieces of decor or old paint cans that could be used to revamp your bedroom. Take a look at what you have before hitting the store, you just might be surprised at what you find!

Hit the Thrift Store

One of our favorite ways to pick up new treasures and spend a lazy Saturday afternoon is hitting our local thrift store! Take a stroll through the aisles to find pieces that are totally unique and will give that personal touch to your new revamped bedroom. Check out these tips if you’re a beginner thrifter and remember, stick to your moodboard for a cohesive look!

Paint an Accent Wall

New paint is pricey! If you’re looking to try a new color on the walls as part of your bedroom refresh there are a number of ways you can stick to your budget. First, think about using some paint you already have. This could mean simply refreshing the color you have on your walls or reusing the color from your dining room. You can even reuse old painting tools with a little preparation. Looking to try something totally new? Consider painting an accent wall to save on the amount of paint you need to buy. This allows you to add some fresh color without breaking the bank.
