Performance Microdenier Microfiber - what comes to mind when you hear this phrase? For many of us, we liken typical, basic Microfiber to cleaning cloths or mop heads! While those are great uses for microfiber fabric, the world of microfiber contains many variations and qualities, much like the clothing we wear.

One important difference between microfiber variations is denier. Denier is defined as the weight in grams of 9000 meters of a fiber. So, if 9,000 meters of a fiber weighs 1 gram, that is classified as 1 denier. A higher denier means a thicker fiber, while a lower denier means the fiber is finer and more light weight.

Fabrics made of low denier microfiber are lightweight, resist wrinkles, drape beautifully and resist pilling. They’re also breathable, soft, comfortable, and durable when compared to other fabrics of the same weight. They owe their softness and drape to the fact that the individual fibers are less rigid and conform more easily to the body.

Does all of this sound familiar? That’s right! PeachSkinSheets are made from a performance microdenier microfiber fabric. Microdenier fabrics have a fineness typically less than 1 denier, softer than silk! Our signature ultra-fine microdenier performance fabric offers exceptional softness, breathability, and moisture management, especially designed for a superior sleeping experience.

PeachSkinSheets are also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, meaning they’ve been independently tested and verified to be free from harmful substances. They’re safe for direct contact with your skin, so you and your family can rest easy night after night. Because the fabric is engineered to allow airflow while wicking away moisture, you don’t just feel softness, you feel consistently comfortable, even if you tend to sleep warm.
