From Startup to Spotlight: PeachSkinSheets Founder Joins Nexstar to Celebrate Remarkable Women Across the U.S.

Karen Levine, founder and CEO of PeachSkinSheets, was honored to participate in this year’s Remarkable Women event hosted by Nexstar Media Group, in Los Angeles. Known for blazing a trail and paving the way for future entrepreneurs, Karen was selected to help support the initiative because of her powerful and inspiring story – one that embodies the same strength, empowerment, and impact celebrated by the event.

Karen was invited to contribute in a meaningful way: by donating gifts to all 130 Remarkable Women honorees and sharing a deeply personal “Letter to My Younger Self.” In fact, it was Karen’s inspiring journey and emotional depth that sparked the creation of the Letter to My Younger Self component of the program – a brand-new addition to the event, developed by Nexstar specifically because of Karen and her story. Once the idea was in place, all 130 honorees were invited to write their own letters, creating a powerful new tradition for the initiative.

One of the most poignant lines from Karen’s letter resonated throughout the room: “You are a survivor. You are a remarkable woman. And yes – one day, you’ll even be grateful for the crazy ride.”

The gift set included a custom PeachSkinSheets travel case and mirror, and was designed to be both practical and symbolic. During the program, host Leeza Gibbons held up the mirror to guests in the crowd and encouraged each honoree to reflect on their own journey, and what they would say to their younger selves, creating one of the most heartfelt and memorable moments of the evening.

Karen’s story, from navigating single motherhood to launching PeachSkinSheets at 48 and achieving financial freedom at 50, is one of resilience, grace, and purpose. Her letter reminded attendees that success is rarely linear, and that the struggles behind the scenes often shape their future strength and successes.
