PeachSkinSheets are easy to care for, and less cumbersome to wash than other heavier fabrics like cotton. Wash your PeachSkinSheets separately in warm or cold water. Do not dry clean PeachSkinSheets or Comforter Sets. Only wash PeachSkinSheets with other PeachSkinSheets, since adding clothing or other heavier types of sheets (like cotton that absorbs a lot of water) can cause the pill resistant finish to break down. Do not wash Comforter Sets with any other cottons, sheet sets, towels, or other clothing items. When putting the detergent into the wash, use the dispenser or pour it in under the running water. Detergent pods are not recommended for these sheets because they can cause streaking when the pods don’t break down. If you need to use bleach, we recommend non-chlorine bleach since chlorine bleach can cause streaking and discoloration – and it can break down the fibers in the fabric. You can also add white vinegar to your rinse cycle as a natural deodorizer and disinfectant. Dry your sheets separately on medium to medium-high heat for about 20 minutes. This will activate the wrinkle release as well as dry the sheets. Never use high heat. For Comforter Sets, dry on low to medium heat for 15 mins. or lay flat to air dry. It is okay to use dryer sheets, wool dryer balls and fabric softener. Avoid plastic dryer balls, and skin products that contain peroxide. You can extend the life of your sheets if you rotate your sheets on a regular basis. We recommend keeping three sets: one for the bed, one for the hamper, and one for the linen closet.
